We are proud to share that our Chair, Eddie Griffith, has an Expert Insight video now live as part of the Small Business Week 2026 On Demand Video Series, running South Australia wide from 17 to 21 August, delivered by the Office for Small and Family Business and Small Business Commission SA.

The video, titled “Building Resilience Through Diversification,” sits alongside expert insight sessions on supporting mental health in business and practical energy efficiency, part of a series designed to help business owners access real, practical guidance whenever suits them, no matter what stage of business they are at.

In just over six minutes, Eddie shares a perspective that runs against how many owners think about diversification. It is not a fallback plan reserved for hard times, it is one of the most critical factors in long term business success. He walks through why diversifying income streams matters, how tools like SWOT and PESTLE analysis can be built into a living strategic plan, the early red flags every small business owner should recognise, and why resilience itself is not something anyone is simply born with, it is a mindset built through practice and shaped by learning from setbacks.
