Before becoming a founding director and Fund Manager and Enterprise Investor of Hermes Business Capital, Nick Samios spent twenty five years in the banking and finance industry. He has worked at local and international banks and finance companies and specialised in property, equipment, and of course, cash flow finance. He has worked closely with SMEs from a diverse range of industries and in various business life cycle stages including start-up, high growth, restructure and turnaround.
Hermes understands that it’s the future of the business, not its history that matters. If the business is a viable enterprise, Hermes will take the time to understand its unique requirements and work closely with clients to structure working capital solutions that can deliver their financial objectives. Hermes recognises that each situation is different and by analysing every aspect of a company and its financial position, we are able to provide flexible, customised solutions specific to the needs of each individual business.
Being privately funded, Hermes is able to provide the highest levels of flexibility and are bound by common sense and not constrained by institutional bureaucracy. As such, Hermes is able to deliver financing solutions where the banks will decline to help. Nick was previously chairman of the TMA Australia and has been involved in the educational component for the turnaround profession for many years.
