Josh is the Asia-Pacific CEO of Teneo’s Financial advisory practice that supports clients to create or preserve value across the full spectrum of situations and transactions. Teneo is a global CEO advisory firm owned by CVC Capital Partners.
Prior to joining Teneo, Josh was a Strategy and Transactions Partner with EY-Parthenon focussed on the financial services sector. In this role he led the value creation and turnaround practice in Hong Kong and was the lead client partner for a number of the firms’ priority inbound clients. He has had a lifelong focus on performance, including 20 years’ experience working across financial and advisory services, within Citi’s Capital Markets team and taking executive positions as interim CEO and in turnaround-operational roles.
Josh has studied at Harvard, Insead and Imperial College London business schools and holds a number of professional certifications. He participates as a member of the Hong Kong Healthcare Business Board, the British Chamber’s China Committee, is an INSEAD alumni and has been awarded an honorary Doctorate and MBE. Josh was formerly a world class and world cup rugby union player representing England and the British and Irish Lions. Josh also climbed Mount Everest in 2010, making it to 8,700 metres above sea level just prior to the failure of his breathing equipment.
Josh participated in the inaugural ABRT Executive Certification course, contributing to the development of law for turnaround, finance for turnaround and strategic management for turnaround subjects.
