Prior to finishing his undergraduate degree, Bob Le sought to gain some experience as an intern through the University of Adelaide’ specialist program. Bob was successful in securing a role working for ABRT Founder and Chairman Eddie Griffith. Bob was required to assist with a diverse portfolio of clients – several were still within the ‘triage phase’ – an urgent and emotionally charged point where strategic business restructuring and turnaround options are still being explored.
Bob was, quite literally, thrown in at the deep end. He confidently opened up and maintained communication channels with various business owners, lenders, accountants, lawyers and insolvency professionals. Within a few weeks, Bob had developed his own unique working style and was successfully collaborating with Eddie Griffith’s extensive professional referral network.
After graduating, Bob took up roles in wealth management and finance for the Westpac Group and deVere Group. Bob then found himself engaged in high-profile projects with KPMG Australia as a Risk Strategy and Technology Consultant, working on regulatory risk management and governance.
Bob recently finished a short contract with fintech lender Plenti (specialising in automotive, renewable energy and personal loans to help innovators and entreprenuers). Bob held the position as Treasury Analyst, a technology based role which had him continually improving on security, structural integrety and efficiency of transactions.
After securing an employment position with ASX listed Omni Bridgeway, Bob was promoted to ‘Senior Treasury Analyst.’ A global leader in legal finance and risk management, Omni Bridgeway is a powerhouse in litigation funding. Tackling the issue of estate recoveries for trustees and liquidators, Omni Bridgeway offers litigation funding and access to high quality counsel and experts which help minimise risks associated with lengthy estate recovery decisions. Omni Bridgeway’s support and backing brings an innovative and bespoke professional service – essential for smoothing the cashflows of insolvency accounting and legal firms as they work through the dispute resolution and litigation systems to reach conclusion.
