Amelia is an experienced lawyer, with 2 years of corporate practice working as in house legal counsel for Australia’s oldest Bank. In her time with the Bank, she was involved in responding to the Royal Commission, negotiating and/or exiting external third-party contracts and arrangements, managing relationships and disputes with key regulators, and developing compliant customer user experiences for new digital banking platforms.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Amelia worked in Banking and Finance for 6 years gaining experience as a Risk and Compliance Manager. This gives Amelia a unique perspective, understanding not only the law, but how to operationally comply with the law.

Amelia has spent her career working for large corporations and subsequently has a deep understanding of how to navigate disputes with large entities. She is well versed in business and commercial structures and loves to be innovative to tailor solutions which practically support her clients.

Amelia understands the support businesses and individuals need is sometimes more than just legal. She works hand in hand with her clients to gain favourable outcomes by understanding their needs and getting to know the ‘full picture’.
